Annual Review

We care for 3,000 acres of the Malvern Hills and Commons from the high open hilltops, to the tree lined avenues, to the banks of the River Severn.  Our focus is to protect and conserve the important features and special qualities of this landscape and to keep the Hills open for recreation and enjoyment.

Our work on the Annual Review for the period from the 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2023 is underway and we plan to publish the review later this autumn.  Read our previous reviews below:

Accounts - How we are funded

Approximately 60% of the cost of managing the land under our jurisdiction is met by a levy on Council Tax payers from the Wards of Malvern, together with the parishes of Colwall, Guarlford and Mathon. The rest of the costs are supported by income from car parking, grants from outside funding bodies, donations and other fundraising activities.

As a charity, donations and legacies are vitally important to us as they enable us to achieve more than just the basic maintenance work.

A meeting was held on Thursday 19th October 2023 at which the accounts were approved.  The signed copy is available to view below.  The accounts are also lodged with the Charity Commission.
