Dawn Chorus and a Donkey

We celebrated International Dawn Chorus Day on Sunday on the Malvern Hills.

Those brave enough to join warden Simon Roberts and Conservation Officer Andy Pearce on an early morning and very chilly walk on British Camp were rewarded with a variety of birdsong.

Highlights included songs from a willow warbler, garden warbler, redstart, linnet and cuckoo. All interspersed with the unmistakable dawn chorus call of the donkey...
