At a special meeting held last night (Tuesday 19th March), the Board of the Malvern Hills Trust considered an application for an easement for residential purposes across Trust land at Chance Lane in Malvern.
After giving the matter long and careful consideration , the Board voted to reject the application.
The application was submitted by the Rose Farm Partnership for an easement across MHT land off Chance Lane together with an easement for emergency access across Jack Pit Lane. The meeting, which was open to the public was held at the Gryphon Room, Malvern College.
Both the applicant and objectors to the application were given the opportunity speak at the outset of the meeting, and over 100 letters received from the public were seen by the Board prior to their consideration of the matter.
