Tramper Hire available on the Malvern Hills

This week, accessibility partners involved in a local Tramper hire scheme met on the Malvern Hills.

A Tramper is a rugged off-road mobility scooter that can provide improved access to the countryside and green spaces.  In partnership with Countryside Mobility and Cafe H2O, a Tramper is available for the public to hire, enabling visitors to reach the top of the Worcestershire Beacon - the highest point on the Malvern Hills.

A sister organisation, Outdoor Mobility, also joined the trip to audit the current route from the Wyche Cutting and to discuss potential alternative routes.

Beck, Community and conservation officer said "On our visit this week we were treated to some fantastic views towards Wales, the Cotswolds and beyond. We are delighted to support this initiative which provides an opportunity for more people to experience these views, reach the summit of the Worcestershire Beacon, and enjoy the incredible landscape of the Malvern Hills."
