Please be aware that the Alice Betteridge path from North Quarry car park to Happy Valley is closed. A large tree from a neighbouring property has fallen over the path and it is blocked at the northern end near to North Quarry car park. A diversion is in place along the main path from the car park as there is no way of climbing over or going around the tree. We are expecting contractors to attend this week to assess the tree and plan its removal.
We apologise for any inconvenience and will announce when the path has reopened.
