Notice to Levy Payers - Appointment of Auditors

The deadline has now passed and nominations are closed.

Malvern Hills Trust’s auditors are reappointed on an annual basis.  The Trust is about to embark on a tendering process for the accounting year 2022/23.

The Trust’s governing Acts state that those who pay the levy to the Trust may vote to appoint the auditors. The Trust is therefore inviting any levy payer who might wish to do so, to put forward the name of a suitably qualified firm of Auditors (a firm specialising in the small charity sector with a strong portfolio of charity clients) so that they may be included in the tender process. 

If you wish to nominate a firm for inclusion in the tender process, please contact the Trust in writing at the address below or at info@malvernhills.org.uk no later than 12 noon 28 October 2022 giving the name and contact details of the firm.  No nominations will be accepted after this date.  The auditors will be appointed at the reconvened Levy Payers Meeting (date to be announced) once all tenders have been considered.

Under powers in the Malvern Hills Acts, the Trust charges a levy to Council Tax payers in the Malvern Hills District Council wards of Chase, Dyson Perrins, Malvern Link, Pickersleigh, Priory, Wells and West Malvern and the parishes of Colwall, Guarlford and Mathon.
