Levy payer pass renewals to open in May

The popular levy payer car park passes for the year commencing 1st June 2022 for the Hills and Commons will be available to purchase online from the 3rd May 2022.

The levy payer passes are available to residents of the town of Malvern, and the parishes of Colwall, Guarlford, Malvern Wells, Mathon and West Malvern who pay a levy toward the Trust.

Levy payer passes will cost £6.00 each (plus £1.00 for postage) and will be valid from the 1st June 2022 until the 31st May 2023.  Those wishing to purchase a levy payer’s pass will be asked to provide a copy of their Council Tax bill which details the levy to the Trust as proof of their address and eligibility for these concessionary passes.

Any Levy payer passes purchased before the 3rd May will only be valid until 31st May 2022. Levy payer application forms and more information will be published in May.

For those unable to purchase their pass online, the office will be open to purchase a pass in person. Please check our website for the most up to date office opening times.

An Annual Pass is available for those who live outside the levy paying areas.  It is good value fort those who are regular visitors to the Hills and Commons.  An Annual Pass, valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, can be obtained from the Malvern Hills Trust’s office for £39.00.   A pass for a second vehicle at the same household can be purchased at a reduced rate of £15.00.

From the 1st April 2022, the price of an Annual Pass will be £41.00 with a 2nd pass for the same household for £16.00.  Annual pass application forms are now available.

The contribution made by the public through the purchase of parking passes is an essential source of income that supports the charity’s work caring for the Hills and Commons.  This support helps the Malvern Hills Trust to protect the ancient archaeology, conserve the habitats and species and keep the Hills open and accessible for all to enjoy.

Pay and display tickets in the Trust’s car parks will be £4.80 per vehicle from the 1st April.  Tickets are valid on the day of purchase across all the Trust’s car parks.
