Giving thanks in Volunteers' Week

In celebration of Volunteers' Week and World Environment Day we'd like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to our volunteers who help to care for the Malvern Hills and commons.

As the lockdown began we sadly had to cancel many of our conservation days and stand down volunteer wardens and litter pickers for their safety. Their hard work and efforts have been greatly missed, as well as their friendly faces!

Over the coming weeks, we hope to slowly and safely welcome back some of our volunteers to join us on the Hills and Commons once again.

We’d also like to extend our thanks to everyone who has collected litter on their walk, jog or ride in recent weeks and to those who have been the ‘eyes on the ground’ during one of the busiest times the Hills have ever seen.

Your efforts have not gone unnoticed and we are extremely grateful for your support in caring for this amazing landscape. Thank you.
