The Malvern Hills Trust is hosting the final public drop-in consultation event next week about their scheme to update the Malvern Hills Acts.
The Malvern Hills Trust, the charity that looks after the Hills and commons and is governed by the Malvern Hills Acts, is putting forward proposals to help it care for this iconic landscape in the 21st century.
Proposals include reducing the size of the board, having additional powers to tackle land management issues and more options to fundraise.
Staff and board members of the Trust are inviting people to join them on the Tuesday 1st October from 3pm until 8pm at Castlemorton Parish Hall for the final drop in session. All are welcome.
Duncan Bridges, CEO said ‘We’re encouraging people to come along to this event to ask questions and discuss the proposed changes which are aimed at improving the way we look after this iconic landscape. We appreciate that some of the issues, as well as the solutions being put forward, are complex so we’re pleased to be able to provide opportunities for people to find out more. “
“We’d like to remind people to make sure they complete the online questionnaire as a formal record of their thoughts on the proposals – all of which can be found on our website.”
The full consultation document with details on all the proposals and the online questionnaire is available here for people to have their say
The consultation closes on the 13th October.
