Thank you for your patience whilst we carried out essential tree work in Thirds Wood, Jubilee Drive.
We're pleased to say that the first phase of work has been completed and the road has now reopened. Paths into Thirds Wood will be open from 12 noon today once a final safety check has taken place.
Although the major tree works have been done, there are some minor works including selective thinning still to be finished. Contractors will return to Thirds Wood later this winter to work on this second phase. During this time we will again have to temporarily close the woodland for public safety.
