The 2021/22 parking passes for the Malvern Hills car parks are now available from the Malvern Hills Trust.
The Trust has opened online and postal applications for new Levy payer passes which are valid until the 31st May 2022. Passes cost £5.90.
Levy passes (formerly Resident’s passes) are available for a reduced price to residents of the town of Malvern, and the parishes of Colwall, Guarlford, Malvern Wells, Mathon and West Malvern who pay a levy toward the Trust.
Those wishing to purchase a pass will be asked to provide a copy of their Council Tax bill with their application which details the levy to the Trust as proof of eligibility.
Duncan Bridges said “As a charity, the income from the car park passes and tickets is essential and we thank everyone who has contributed in this way to the care of the Malvern Hills and Commons. This has allowed us to continue looking after this valuable landscape for people and wildlife throughout this difficult time.”
Those unable to complete the application for a new pass online or by post can purchase a pass in person at the Trust’s office on Grange Road.
Duncan added “We are asking people to purchase their pass online or by post to reduce the risk of spreading Covid to both staff and other members of the public. Please only come to the office if you have no other option.”
The Trust offices are open from 9am to 3:30pm Monday to Friday for the purchase of passes only. Any other queries should be sent in by email to the Trust.
Safety measures will be in place with a one in, one out policy, and masks will be compulsory, unless you are exempt.
For those living outside of the eligible area, an Annual Pass is available for those who live outside the levy paying areas, but are regular visitors to the Hills and Commons. An Annual Pass, valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, can be obtained by post. A pass for a second vehicle at the same household can be purchased at a reduced rate of £15.00. Details of how to apply are on the Trust’s website.
Passes are not available from Malvern Library, Colwall Library this year as a result of Covid and Malvern Tourist Information Centre no longer sells passes following their move to the Lyttelton Well Courtyard.
Application forms and further information can be found on our parking pass pages.
