Rock exposures in this area are an essential habitat for the grayling butterfly (the rarest butterfly in Worcestershire). Task will include cutting brambles back from the rock perimeter.
Please be aware there is a 10 minute walk to the site from the car park and the work area is very steep.
Conservation days are held between 10am and 4pm but you are welcome to come and go at any point between these times. Tools and friendly guidance is given at the start of the day. Refreshments are provided, although you may wish to bring lunch.
Please wear clothing suitable for practical work and changeable weather plus sturdy boots.
Children under the age of 18 and vulnerable adults must be accompanied by and adult.
