Graduated with a Scots law degree in 1971 qualifying as a Solicitor in 1975 and working 18 years in industry.  In 1994 I became Trust Secretary for Bournville Village Trust, Birmingham and was able to retire in 2000.  Since then, have done voluntary work for Young Enterprise, and 9 years as a trustee of Age Concern Herefordshire & Worcestershire including 3 years as Chairman.  In 2021 I was co-opted to Colwall Parish Council.

Pastimes include racketball, badminton, bridge, bonsai, skiing, mountain trekking and house restoration
