Our Community and Conservation Officer Beck cycled into work today via a site visit to check on a tree. This meant that the commute included a ride along the picturesque Lady's Mile on Malvern Common.
Beck said "I cycle to work everyday and it keeps me fit and healthy. I find that cycling to work is a good start to the day and cycling back gives me time to decompress on the way home."
"I think it's important to care for our environment and by walking or cycling rather than driving on simple everyday journeys, we can all reduce our carbon emissions and slow climate changes."
To encourage and enable more people to ride rather than drive to the Hills, we will be installing more bike racks in our car parks around the Hills later this year.
